Today, INNOVI has been awarded the R&D&I Management Award within the framework of the 7th PTV Innovation Awards, held at CaixaForum Madrid and organised by the Spanish Wine Technology Platform (PTV). This recognition highlights the work carried out by INNOVI throughout 2024 in fostering, promoting and supporting innovative projects, as well as its strong commitment to collaborative innovation within the wine sector.
The award recognises INNOVI as the organisation with the highest number of R&D&I projects promoted and approved within the PTV during the past year, consolidating its role as a driving force for innovation, knowledge transfer and public–private collaboration in the vitivinicultural field.
In this same edition of the awards, Terra Alta Consultoría TIC, a member company of INNOVI, was recognised in the Individual R&D&I Project category for its project “Digitalisation of the field logbook and vitivinicultural management through artificial intelligence (AnaWin IA)”. This initiative exemplifies the potential of digitalisation and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, traceability and decision-making in wine production management.
In addition, the LOCALVINO project was selected as a finalist in the Consortia R&D&I Project category with the initiative “LOCALVINO: Implementation of IoT and Blockchain certification by Designations of Origin to prevent fraud.”
The project is coordinated by INNOVI and funded by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, under the Support Programme for Innovative Business Groups (AEI), and by the European Union – Next Generation EU, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), with project reference AEI-010500-2023-373.
The LOCALVINO consortium is composed of INNOVI, INCAVI, Rius i Rius, DO Penedès, ITA Innova, the Aragonese Food Cluster, Grandes Vinos y Viñedos, Eudald Massana and TACTIC, and aims to strengthen traceability, transparency and fraud prevention in the wine sector through advanced digital technologies.
At INNOVI, we highly value this double recognition, which reflects both the cluster’s capacity to promote high value-added innovative projects and the talent and technological excellence of its member companies.
The event, sponsored by AgroBank, brought together nearly one hundred professionals from the sector and featured the participation of renowned speakers, consolidating its position as a key forum for showcasing innovation in the wine sector at national level.
For INNOVI, this recognition represents a further incentive to continue promoting R&D&I projects, the adoption of advanced technologies and the strengthening of an innovative, competitive and sustainable ecosystem serving the vitivinicultural sector.
